About this Opportunity
An opportunity exists for a full time day shift Production Operator to commence at our Juice operation located in Harvey WA. We are looking for a team member who can help in the day to day activities within the Fresh Juice Production and Processing teams. You must be physically fit, proactive, committed to safety and quality outcomes, have great attention to detail and be someone who can work as part of a team. This role offers a 38 hour week, Monday to Thursday.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Daily juice production process by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- General cleaning and hygiene within the plant.
- Quality & compliance testing
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment and liaising with the maintenance team as necessary
- Understanding and complying with all Food Safety, Hygiene and Quality and OHS policies and procedures.
- Operate a forklift
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Understand and follow instructions and procedures
- Effectively communicate information both written and verbally
- Work in cross-functional teams
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Work with limited supervision
- Strong understanding of GMP & HACCP programs
- A sound mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn
- A Forklift License is desirable but not essential
